I just had to get one – having reviewed it for the Register web site – well it was only a matter of saving up. In the background you can see the trusty Canon XH-A1 with a SGPro attachment on the front – it’s how we got depth of field in those days…. – tiny sensors= ‘video-look’ so we focused on a spinning mirrored surface that was displaying an upside down image from (in this case) an old Canon mnual FD lens. It gave some pretty nice results. The len on the fron tof the new camera is a 16-35mm L f/2.8 Mk2 – which is an amazingly versatile piece of kit. And gives a unique perspective for video.
