Great to see this finally up, Karl (Producer) kept going back to this till we had some great quotes from Paul (filmed 6 months after the event) as well as his crew on the day. All shot EOS 5D MkII and probably all audio through my Giant Squid Lapel into Pocketrak.

Nice featurette with Gavin explaining the some of the (seemingly small, yet very important) details of his equipment. Shot green screen with DSR’s, audio from DPA 4061 / Rode NTG-2 into my zoom R16. Vic’s media team put it together.

Jem Godfrey Demos Korg Kronos

The wonderful biscuit loving keyboard wizard Jem Godfrey takes Korg’s new 9 engined workstation for a spin round the block.
Filmed at Wise Buddah Studios in London at the end of August. Using a couple of DSLR’s with the audio routed to the lovely monitors in the room and my recorder, Jem is wearing my tie-clip of choice (when I can get power to it!) DPA 4061.
Fantastic couple of hours of filming – Jem can just rattle through these things, as he is genuinely passionate and excited about the product.
Here is a large project which took some setting up (not just the drums!)
Fab day shooting with the very talented Josh Devine, directed by Mapex’s own Pete Havard. The man at the desk – Dan Humphries who kept the exceedingly high quality signal consistent, which was the idea of the exercise. Graphics are a mix of sped up timelapse from the GoPo and moving graphics in the edit. The diagrams in the titles are in fact the kit in question.
